About the Role
As a Development and Partnership Team Member, you are the friendly face of our fundraising and sponsorship efforts. You'll be on the front lines, interacting directly with attendees and partners to help us achieve our philanthropic goals. Whether you are encouraging bids at the charity auction, explaining the work of our charity partner, or helping a sponsor, your enthusiasm is key to our success.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Execute assigned tasks, such as being a "runner" for auction items, staffing a donation table, or assisting at a sponsor's booth.
Provide excellent, friendly service to all attendees and partners.
Clearly explain the rules of fundraising games or the details of auction items.
Handle donations or transactions accurately and responsibly.
Follow all instructions from your Team Leader and adhere to all event policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Positive Attitude: A friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable demeanor.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a small team.
Reliability: A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to your shift.
Communication: Good listening and verbal communication skills.
Beneficial Skills
Comfort with handling cash or payment systems.
Experience in retail or customer service.
