About the Role
The Development and Partnership Supervisor is an on-the-ground leader responsible for overseeing a specific function within the department during the event. This could include managing the charity auction floor, coordinating sponsor load-in and on-site support, or overseeing a team handling financial transactions. They ensure their assigned area runs smoothly, professionally, and effectively.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Directly oversee and support a team of Team Leaders and Members during event shifts.
Manage the operational logistics of a specific area, such as the setup and tear-down of the charity auction display.
Serve as the first point of escalation for issues within their area, such as sponsor requests or transaction discrepancies.
Train team members on specific procedures, such as cash handling or interacting with sponsors.
Ensure all activities in their area comply with organizational policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Supervisory Experience: Experience leading small teams in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and resolve operational issues on the fly.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, especially for tasks like inventory or financial reconciliation.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills for directing teams and interacting with partners.
Beneficial Skills
Retail or cash handling experience.
Experience working with sponsors or VIPs at an event.
