About the Role
As an Event Ops Team Member, you are the muscle and logistical backbone of the event. You are on the front lines, physically creating the spaces where the magic happens. From arranging chairs for a panel to managing the flow of attendees into the main ballroom, your work ensures that the event is functional, orderly, and safe for everyone.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Execute physical tasks as directed, such as setting up tables and chairs, placing signage, and running cables.
Assist with managing attendee lines, ensuring they are orderly and safe.
Perform badge checks at the entrance to key event spaces.
Assist with basic audio-visual tasks, like setting up a projector or microphone.
Communicate any observed safety hazards or issues to your Team Leader immediately.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Team Player: Ability to work hard and effectively as part of a crew.
Follows Instructions: Can listen to and execute directions carefully and safely.
Proactive Attitude: Keeps an eye out for potential problems and is willing to help out wherever needed.
Physical Ability: Able to be on your feet for extended periods and perform light-to-moderate physical tasks.
Beneficial Skills
Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or event setup role.
Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment.
