About the Role
The Event Ops Team Leader guides a small crew to accomplish a specific, tangible goal. They are the sergeants of the show floor, leading teams in setting up rooms, managing lines for popular events, executing a room changeover on a tight schedule, or assisting with main stage operations. They ensure their team works safely, efficiently, and effectively to keep the event moving.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a small team to complete tasks like room setup, equipment placement, or line control.
Provide clear, step-by-step instructions to ensure tasks are completed correctly and safely.
Communicate progress and any issues (e.g., missing equipment, safety concerns) to the Supervisor.
Ensure the team adheres to all safety procedures, such as proper lifting techniques.
Keep team morale high during physically demanding or repetitive tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Leadership Potential: Ability to command respect and guide peers effectively.

Attention to Safety: A constant awareness of the surroundings and a commitment to safe practices.

Experience with manual labor or event setup/tear-down.
