
About the Role
The Guest Experience Team Leader is in charge of a specific section of the registration hall or a dedicated service point, like the Information Desk or Accessibility Services desk. They lead a small team of frontline volunteers, providing constant guidance, answering procedural questions, and ensuring their crew delivers friendly and efficient service throughout their shift.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a small team of volunteers at a bank of registration stations or a specific service desk.
Provide ongoing training and support to team members on registration software and policies.
Handle moderately complex attendee questions before they need to be escalated to a Supervisor.
Manage the supplies for their station, such as badge stock, lanyards, and printer toner.
Act as a role model for excellent customer service and a positive attitude.

Problem-Solver: Can quickly find answers to common questions and resolve minor issues.
Patience & Empathy: The ability to remain calm and understanding when dealing with stressed attendees.

Beneficial Skills
Experience as a senior cashier, lead host, or customer service representative.
Training or coaching experience.
