About the Role
The Media and Brand Supervisor manages a key public-facing function of the department during the event. They might be the on-site social media manager, coordinating live coverage from the floor; the lead for all event photography, dispatching photographers to key events; or the manager of the merchandise booth, overseeing sales and inventory. They are a hands-on leader ensuring their team produces high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Directly manage a team of photographers, videographers, social media content creators, or merchandise booth staff.
Make real-time content decisions, such as what to post on social media or which photos to prioritize.
Oversee the logistics of the merchandise booth, including point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and inventory control.
Train team members on brand guidelines, equipment use, or sales procedures.
Serve as the point of contact for press or media checking in at the event.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Supervisory Experience: Experience leading creative or retail teams.
Functional Expertise: Deep knowledge in at least one area: social media management, photography/videography, or retail operations.
Decision-Making: Ability to make quick, sound judgments about content or operations.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage schedules, equipment, or inventory effectively.
Beneficial Skills
Professional photography or videography experience.
Experience managing an e-commerce store or physical retail location.
