
About the Role
The Risk Management and Personnel Supervisor manages the on-site hub for all staff: Volunteer Services. This role oversees the volunteer check-in and check-out process, manages the staff lounge, and is the first point of contact for volunteers with questions or minor issues during the event. They are responsible for creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive home base for all staff.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Directly manage the operations of the Volunteer Services desk and the staff lounge.
Oversee the scheduling and management of the Volunteer Services team.
Serve as the first point of escalation for volunteer issues, such as missed shifts, misplaced badges, or minor interpersonal conflicts.
Ensure the staff lounge is kept clean, stocked, and remains a safe and welcoming space for breaks.
Assist with the on-site documentation of incidents as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Supervisory Experience: Experience leading administrative or customer service teams.
Problem-Solving: Ability to calmly and effectively resolve common staff issues.
Organizational Skills: Can manage schedules, inventory (for the lounge), and processes efficiently.
Approachable Demeanor: A friendly and supportive leader that volunteers feel comfortable approaching.
Beneficial Skills
Experience in an administrative or office manager role.
First aid and CPR certification.
