About the Role

The Technical Infrastructure Supervisor is a hands-on technical leader responsible for a specific area of the event's technology. They might be the IT helpdesk lead, solving staff computer issues; the asset manager, running the entire radio and equipment checkout system; or the technical director for a main stage, ensuring the show runs without a hitch. They are the primary technical problem-solver on the ground.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly manage the operations of a specific technical team (IT Support, Assets, or A/V).

  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for all technical issues within their area of responsibility.

  • Oversee the deployment and recovery of technical assets, ensuring everything is accounted for.

  • Troubleshoot network, software, and hardware issues in a fast-paced environment.

  • Train team members on technical procedures and equipment operation. 


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Supervisory Experience: Experience leading technical teams or projects.

  • Technical Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge in either IT support, asset management, or live A/V.

  • Troubleshooting: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing technical faults.

  • Calm Under Pressure: Ability to remain focused and methodical when resolving urgent technical problems. 


Beneficial Skills

  • Experience as a lead IT technician or helpdesk coordinator.

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
